PCC Mission Partnership

PITTSFORD COMMUNITY CHURCH PARTNERSHIP WITH FILAM, WAIPAHU COMMUNITY CHRISTIAN CHURCH AND VILLAGE PARK BAPTIST CHURCH

February 21, 23, 24 & 25

History

Philip and Dawn Roberto, organizers of the PCC Mission team was a member at FBC of
Wahiaw 14 years ago.   Upon retiring from the Navy, the couple moved back to NY.
Their home church now are involve in Brazil and Bolivia and the couple's passion have
encouraged the church to hep the ministries in Hawaii.   This is the third time the Roberto's
have formed a mission team to minister in Hawaii.

Who is Pittsford Community Church?

Pittsford Community Church (PCC) of New York.  PCC is a thriving faith community in New York
whose heart of missions are focused internationally like Brazil and Bolivia.  Recently, their hearts
passion has been pointing westward to Hawaii.   See their fb here.

How are Mililani Fil-Am, Village Park BC and Waipahu Community Christian Church partner with PCC?

Upon dialogue, here is what PCC can do with Filam, Village Park and Waipahu CCC.
(1) visitation helps; (2) youth night (3) block party helps.

For visitation help.

The goal is to help the congregation visit their "low hanging fruit" prospects.
These are individuals or families that have needs follow up and maybe has not been
coming to church lately.  Such visit can be scheduled on Wednesday, Feb 21, between
5;30PM - 9:O0PM with a time of instruction and prayer at the beginning.
To do this successfully, we need volunteers from our churches to be trained and to facilitate
this visitation.  Their team can have groups come out that night, with each team led by our
local volunteers.

For Youth night (Friday, Feb 23),

PCC will interact by playing, engaging and getting to know youth and parents.
One of their team member will share a testimony, another will lead some singing.
Since they are a "mission church" they will share their experiences and what it means to be
on missions within their community and outside their community. We want to close that evening with
each of them praying for our youth.  We currently have 21 youth coming from different churches. Venue
for this will be Mililani Kipapa Community Park Volleyball Courts.

Block Party

Venue will be WCCC (Saturday, Feb 24).  This is a collaboration between all there churches.
The Party Trailer of the HPBC will be rented and picked up the day before.   PCC and the three congregations
\will determine who are better suite to cover which tent (games, shaved ice, popcorn, food-grills,
medical, prayer, food bank, etc...) whie WCCC and FilAm Praise Team and Village Park praise
team sing songs (15 mins) each team.  The Youth Project can do general games, security and registration as well.  \
Food can be managed by the two congregations.  WCCC, Filam and village park will promote.

Joint Worship Service
When all are said and things are done, we have the opportunity to say thank you to PCC Mission Team
and since their Sunday schedule (2/25) is limited, it might be a good idea for our congregation/s to say thank
you to them.  Maybe an inter-church is possible for Sunday, February 25?   WCCC, Filam and Village Park
putting a "thank you" worship service for PCC.  We can do a lei presentation, video presentation,
and a sending off prayer.   Maybe a potluck lunch celebration can follow after.
