THINGS TO DO:

  • 9/14 - Church Clean Up, Friday at WCCC
  • FIL-AM ACRONYM
    • F - for "Faithful" - God is Faithful.  Lamentations 3:22-23 says, "The LORD'S lovingkindness indeed never cease, For His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness." Filam embraces faithfulness.  Faithful to his word and in prayer.   Faithful to God's people and faithful as a church to anyone who is looking for hope.  Above all, Mililani Filam strive to be a faithful follower of Jesus.
    • I -  for "Industrious - Filam is not your typical church.  We don't have much and because of that, we work hard to make things happen.  Our bible teachers from Sunday School and group fellowships are hard-workers.   We believe in what Deuteronomy 15:10 says.  "Give generously to them and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the LORD your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to."
    • L - for "Loving".  The bible in Matthew 22:37-38 says, "37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
    • A -  for "Accepting".  Filam is here to serve anyone.  From the youngest child to the oldest person and even any color of the skin.  We strive to help any group that we can bring closer to Jesus Christ.  We will grow in great length to reach them.
    • M - for "Mobilizing". We believe that everyone has their season.  So we prepare God's people to be ready for their season.  The season of life represents "finding Jesus and loving Him."  The season of  growth is the years of discovery and maturity.  There is also the season of letting-go, on this we believe on sending out our people to accomplish God's perfect plan of saving people through the grace of Jesus Christ.
