Online Bible Studies and Fellowships Week of 03/29/2020

Welcome to our online community where we just don't worship but serve the Lord and one another even at the outbreak of coronavirus.   Please take note of the following schedules this week.

Theme:  Reconciliation
Theme Verse:  2 Corinthians 5:20, "We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us, we implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God."

  • Wednesday and Friday, 7pm (Hawaii Standard Time) \
  • Catch the introduction lesson of Reconciliation presented last Sunday, March 29, 2020, at FB.  Forward the video to 1:00:00.
  • Wednesday Wrap-up:  The story focuses on Saul's extreme hate to David while David kept His peace with God.  How can one person look up to God in the midst of the injustice against him? 1 Samuel 21-31 covers the whole drama and has enormous lessons of Reconciliation for us today.
  • Friday Wrap Up:   The prodigal son is a strong lesson about Reconciliation.

  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 4pm (Hawaii Standard Time)
  • Monday Session wrap-up:   10 children attended the hangout.   The story focused on Jacob stealing Esau's birthright (Gen. 27-29) and the session answered the question, "what do you do when someone hurts/steals from you?"  The kids sang, shared, watched a video and just acted like kids.  We prayed together that God will watch over us during the Corona Virus and against bad internet behaviors...As we disciple your child, please follow up with them all they have learned.  Our memory verse for this week focuses on Matthew 5:16, In the same way, let your light shine before others that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father who is in heaven."
  • Friday Wrap Up:  11 Children with one guest joined our online bible study today.  We focused on Genesis 33 where Jacob reconciled with Esau.   The lesson is be willing to trust in God to put relationships back together.

  • Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, 1pm (Hawaii Standard Time)
  • Tuesday Session Wrap-up:  The story focused on Joseph and his brother's betrayal on him (Gen. 45:1-15).  It has enormous lessons on fixing relationships. Reconciliation is most difficult if the offending party is close to your heart.  What do you do when God's design of moving you forward is to deal with your past?   We caught up with each other, prayed, sang, and tried technology to record viral group music (we tried - ha!).  11 youth got to further hangout after the study.  Join us on Thursday, at 1pm (HST).
  • Thursday Wrap Up:  14 youth joined today and focused the study on attitude and action of reconciliation.  Joseph unveiled himself to his brothers, but moreso, he unveiled God to them.
  • Preparations for Online Music Video for the upcoming service on 4/5/2020:
    • Receive the music track for the song
    • Download Garage band in your iphone.
    • Record in the garage band with your phone headset
    • Video record on another phone while recording your audio on the Garage Band.
The quirky youth group waiting for you!
